Tunisia: Covid-19 – Tunisair Recalls Entry Conditions to Tunisian Territory

Tunis/Tunisia — The national carrier Tunisair on Thursday recalled in a press release, the entry conditions to the Tunisian territory, in the context of the COVID-19 health crisis.

Thus, any traveller to Tunisia must present at check-in a certificate of negative RT-PCR test whose result date does not exceed 72 hours at check-in at the airport of departure, except for children under 12 years old who are exempted from this measure.

The negative test certificate must be handed over by the passenger to the health services at the thermal control point on arrival at Tunisian airports.

Failure to present a negative PCR test result will prevent the passenger from checking in.

Upon entering the country, the visitor must self-quarantine for a period of 5 days (in a hotel or other accommodation).

Travellers are requested to provide evidence of accommodation during this period and to fill in the mandatory information requested on https://app.e7mi.tn, then print and sign the two documents issued by the application, i.e. the health form and the commitment form, before handing them over to the health services at the thermal control point on arrival at Tunisian airports.

These two documents will be checked by the airline prior to the passenger’s boarding.
