Holiday home portfolio brought to market for £3m | Article

A North Yorkshire Coast Holidays (NYCH) portfolio has been brought to the market on a freehold basis with a guide price of £3m.

The collection of three holiday properties is situated in Filey and has been managed by NYCH for the past decade.

Bourne End House sleeps six to 16 guests and is located on the private estate of Primrose Valley, while the 18th Century Grade-II listed Denmark House can accommodate eight people.

Completing the portfolio, the Lucasland Holiday Complex offers a collection of 18th Century barns that have been renovated into three cottages and a fully functioning private pub.

Kevin Wardell, director at NYCH, said: “All our properties have been sympathetically renovated to suit a variety of groups, including family or friends and we look forward to welcoming a new owner to take the business forward.”

The “rare” opportunity to manage three high-end properties that require low input and healthy financial returns has arisen due to the current owners desires to retire.

Simon Burbridge, hospitality agent at Christie & Co, who is handling the sale, said: “This is a very rare opportunity to acquire not one but three beautiful properties on the Yorkshire Heritage Coast, for anyone looking to start a portfolio or alternatively looking to grow an existing one.”
